Blowing through for one day only, the Exploratorium presents Wind Fair, a breezy open-air market featuring wind-themed arts and crafts, demonstrations and the science of wind. Come on out to the Palace of Fine Arts on Sunday, August 12th, from 11 am to 4 pm to wander through the booths and demonstration areas located just outside the Exploratorium entrance around the Palace of Fine Arts Rotunda. The day’s activities will include a mix of science and art demonstrations and hands-on activities, exhibits, food vendors and wind-driven wares for sale, created by local artisans. Learn from meteorologists, sailors and scientists about the many aspects of wind power. The Wind Fair event is free.
