Berkeley-based wildlife photographer Dan Suzio will be exhibiting photos from his recent trip to Costa Rica. An opening reception will be held on Saturday August 8 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.Dan Suzio "has an astounding ability to capture natural situations and spontaneous action while also achieving the artistic composition, color, and sharpness of detail I associate with studio work," says Dan Rademacher, Editorial Director of Bay Nature magazine. Publisher, editor, and photo industry consultant Ann Guilfoyle says that Suzio's images "are marked by a deep fascination with his subject" and invite the viewer to "take a close, involved look."
For more than thirty years, Dan Suzio's work has appeared regularly in a variety of publications and museums, including Audubon, Bay Nature, and Your Big Backyard magazines, as well as the newly redesigned California Academy of Sciences.
