Description

ForageSF and the Eat Real festival are partnering to teach you about the abundance of wild edibles that are all around us. From wild nettle to gleaned fruit, food is everywhere you look. Once you learn to recognize a few foragables, you’ll never look at the park in the same way again. Rather than a non descript blanket of green, you’ll see minors lettuce, edibles nastertium and wild radish flowers, dock, and sea beans.

Join us on a tour of the wild edible landscape. The walks last about 2 hours, during which you'll get to know more edible plants that you can remember (don't worry, we give you a cheat sheet to take home).

We have several walks coming up that we are leading in partnership with the Eat Real Festival. They are on four days, August 26th, 28th, 29th and 30th. There are several walks being led on each day, at times and locations around the bay area.
