Description
The Randall Museum presents “WILD IN THE CITY” - a hands-on exhibition for kids.Learn about the different wild animals that are living right along beside us in the heart of the city. The exhibition includes some of our common wildlife, such as raccoons, skunks, and opossums, and some less visible creatures that you may not have ever seen.
Children can play in a scaled down Victorian home in the lobby, where they can put on puppet shows, read about “wild” friends in over-sized colorful books, then follow foot prints on the lobby floor to places where urban animals like to hide. The exhibition aims to teach visitors how to live side by side with wildlife so people and animals can both thrive within San Francisco’s city limits.
