Shelly Zegart, Executive Producer and Host for the series "Why Quilts Matter: History, Art & Politics", is coming to the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles for a special Art of Collecting program on Saturday, January 5th. Zegart, co-founder of The Kentucky Quilt Project, Inc., The Alliance for American Quilts, and an expert at the forefront of quilt study for over three decades will be interviewed by SJMQT Executive Director Christine Jeffers, and an episode of her groundbreaking series "Why Quilts Matter" will be presented titled "What is Art?". Please join us for this exciting event at 2pm followed by a reception at 4pm.Members $20, Non-Members $30, Students and seniors $15.
