As we roll on through the beginning of the new year, we need to get that groove going, need to keep things fresh and exciting! With that mentality, we are really excited to bring Vedda into our cozy living room for a night of bangin' groove laden house and techno. He has been very passionate about this gig since we started planning it, so we are in store for something special! Look forward to seeing you all!

VEDDA BIO

Vedda was born February 13th 1978 in La Paz, Bolivia. His early music influences consisted mainly of percussion based Andean tribal music. At the age of 12 he became fascinated with the funky base lines and hard hitting kick drums used in electronic music. By 15 he attended raves on a regular basis in an effort to absorb as much of the DJ and house music culture as possible. Four years later he purchased his first set of turntables and spent every waking hour between school and work (sometimes sacrificing sleep) practicing to become one of the foremost house DJ's in the city by the bay. Now, he incorporates his childhood love of Andean music with the deep, funky baselines produced in house music, with a zest for beats unlike any other, into an eclectic mix of funky yet remarkably sexy techouse. Vedda has played with such San Francisco greats as Jeno, Garth, Simon David Harness, the In House Crew, Rick Preston, Oliver Desmet, Sensei, Ellen Feratto, JT Donaldson and Lance Desardi and many others. Vedda's deep love of house music has inevitably led to producing and remixing. VEDDA CONTINUES TO SPREAD HIS VIBE WORLDWIDE, BUT CALLS San Francisco HOME FOR HIS FAMILY AND MUSIC.
