Description
Whether you're engaged in an ongoing writing project or have always wantedto write, this weekend retreat provides the stimulation and concentration
you need. Writing is both a craft and a way of life, requiring inspiration
and perseverance. In this two-day writing intensive, you explore writing
activities that connect you to your own passion and voice an experiment with
exercises that help push your writing to the next level. Using techniques as
diverse as meditation and guided visualization, writing prompts, Gestalt
exercises, self-dialogue, and depth charges, you explore all facets of the
writing process, and learn what it takes to find and sustain a regular
writing time and recognize the possibilities in your own writing. The
weekend includes lecture, discussion, guided writing exercises and readings
by guest writers. Enrollment is limited.
