Every year on the first Friday of February is National Wear Red Day and this year California Cafe - Palo Alto is taking a stand alongside the nation by wearing red and raising awareness about heart disease.Chef Mark has prepared a Heart Healthy $35* 3-Course Menu featuring some of the top 25 Heart Healthy ingredients.
The menu will be paired with a $10 Wine Flight featuring ’07 Bouchaine Carneros Pinot Noir, ’08 Stags’ Leap Winery Napa Valley Petite Sirah, & ’08 Mount Veeder Winery Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon which retails for more than $80/bottle. Select bottles of wine will be auctioned off and the proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association for heart disease research.
