Description
Ireland’s power-pop foursome We Should Be Dead debuted in 2007 with the single “Forget Romance Let’s Dance”, an almost mortally infectious number that packed a bubblegum punch in the vein of Abba and vintage Prince. The multi-sex quartet arose amidst a much bleaker scene in Limerick, Ireland-a town with little more than a closed music venue and a few fledging hardcore acts. The Dead unveiled a gleaming debut album within a year of their inception, and with it came a few rays of sunshine to the dark pastures of small-town Ireland. Rumor has it a second album is in the works, and with producer Arthur Alexander at the controls, there should be plenty more sunshine ahead.
