If you want greater ease, spend a day inside yourself.

Cultivate ease + flow by engaging in a full day of guided mindfulness practices. Feel into the body, explore the breath. Come to see things as they are and make friends with the direct experience of life.

This Sunday 11 March 10am-5pm at Hub Berkeley the Hub's first meditation instructor, Augusta Hopkins, will lead a day of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Drop into silence and into your bodies.

Practices of the day will:

All practices will be guided and include:
Awareness of the Breath
Sitting Meditation
Body Scanning as developed by Jon Kabat -Zinn
Mindful Movement (Qigong & Gentle Stretching)
Eating Meditation à la Thich Nhat Hanh
Walking Meditation
Poems and stories related to cultivating awareness

Augusta Hopkins began leading mindfulness gathering in 2006 when she returned from a meditation odyssey that brought her to Thailand, Vietnam and France. She is an experienced, colorful, creative instructor, passionate about mindfulness practice. Augusta began her study of movement and mindfulness as a child. She has practiced in Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and France. She co-founded SF Sangha in January 2011.

Trained with leading MBSR instructor and author Dr. Bob Stahl. Mentored by and co-taught with Renee Burgard LCSW, senior Bay Area MBSR instructor for Apple, Google and Stanford.

Augusta was ordained, True Ocean of Strength, by Thich Nhat Hanh, her primary teacher, and is a lay monastic member of the Order of Interbeing.
