On Friday November 16th, Vessel welcomes one of Spain’s most prolific electronic music artists, Wally Lopez. A figurehead in the scene since 1995, his no nonsense style of big room, progressive, electro house has lead him to be the only Spanish artist ever to feature in the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ poll and the only Spaniard to do record of Pete Tong’s highly revered Essential Mixes. Playing over 150 shows worldwide, he’s as in demand as they come. Currently he holds a weekly residency, at the legendary Space Ibiza, with his night sitting alongside artists and club night residencies such as Carl Cox’s Revolution, Richie Hawtin’s Enter, Mark Knight, Fedde le Grand, Roger Sanchez and the Ibiza powerhouse that is We Love. Outside of club land his DJing skills have landed him tour dates with Madonna, Ricky Martin and sponsorships with Pioneer, Red Bull, Absolut and of course Oakley with those trademark glasses he’s known so well for.
Inside the studio his production skills has seen remix requests fly in from the elite of electronic music with Tiësto, Dirty Vegas, Bob Sinclar, and David Guetta all artists who’ve all sought his unique peak time take on house. Tonight he brings that world famous sound it to SF to play Vessel’s Friday night house sessions for the very first time.
