2 years ago, I released a record, made a Facebook page, and sent it to a couple friends. Two weeks later, the notorious xx had one million downloads, and I've been able to play shows in Toronto for Fashion Week, at clubs in Rwanda and Thailand, and at Giants Stadium at a festival with Lil Wayne. Come check out a hometown show for cheap.
I just moved back to SF, and to celebrate I'll be headlining a Friday night show in the main room at Public Works. This venue is an awesome space with enough room to move, a good bar, and great sound, located right in the Mission, the unofficial capital in SF of hipster tunes and hip hop classics. Come enjoy some great music and awesome drink specials.
We'll have drink specials, lots of hip-hop, indie rock, and dancing, and a really awesome party. Tickets are cheap: pre-sale tickets for $8. Limited quantities, and once pre-sale is over, tickets go up to $10. We're anticipating that this will sell out, so get your tickets now -- if available, tickets will be $12 at the door.
