We're assembling an army of Green Team volunteers this May 18th & 19th, to educate the audience of Maker Faire about composting, recycling, and waste reduction, while lowering environmental impact. No experience necessary to sign up, we'll train you to be expert educators.Green Team Volunteers get a free ticket to Maker Faire, can fulfill service learning hours needed, and get a complimentary t-shirt. Come explore a life-sized mouse-trap game, Coke and Mentos performances, robots, car racing, rockets and more at Maker Faire, the greatest show-and-tell on earth!
When: May 18th & 19th
Where: San Mateo Event Center, 2495 S. Delaware St. San Mateo, CA 94403
What: Educating on composting, recycling, and encouraging people to "think before they throw" at our recycling stations. Volunteers will be on their feet and outdoors for a 4.5 hour shift.
