Description
WHAT:The Vodafone xone™ AI Hackathon is a ground-breaking event hosted by Vodafone xone™, the incubation center of Vodafone, one of the largest global mobile operators, and Expertmaker, a leading AI software company. The Hackathon focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and analytics for developers and entrepreneurs to tackle the issue of content and news overload on mobile devices.
WHO:
Developers, front-end designers, university students, entrepreneurs, product marketers, data analyst, computer scientists and programmers are invited to develop a new generation of intelligent apps using AI and big data analytics. No previous AI experience is needed, as the Expertmaker platform is designed to allow easy integration.

PRIZES:
All participants will receive a free one-year Expertmaker license to power the Hackathon app and any other AI powered apps they choose to create. In addition, cash prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place teams as judged by Expertmaker, Vodafone and Verizon Wireless:
• 1st Place: $10,000
• 2nd Place: $7,000
• 3rd Place: $4,000
*Many prize awards must be included in taxable income. Winners should consult with a tax professional at your own cost regarding the potential tax liability of this award.
