Description

This years VivaFest! gets rolling in earnest this week, with films at the Tech Museum, including a 20th anniversary showing of Like Water for Chocolate (Friday at 7pm, a Mariachi Mass at the Basilica of St. Joseph (10am), an outdoor celebration of food, culture and mariachi bands at the HP Pavilion Arena Green (11am to 7pm), Domingo Gigante, a concert featuring Lila Downs, Ozomatli, Paquita del Barrio, Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles, and more.
