On of November 18 the American Rhododendron Society will present a program by Sherla Bertelmann on Vireya series
rhododendrons.
Vireya rhododendrons come from the area that ranges from the Malay Peninsula to Australia, and there are plenty of Vireya species
in New Guinea, Java, and Borneo (including Mount Kinabalu). Information on Vireya series rhododendrons are at http://www.vireya.net.
Sherla Bertelmann is the coowner of Pacific Island Nursery, which is located in Kea'au, Hawaii. http://pacificislandnursery.com
Sherla Bertelmann will be bringing with her, some Vireya plants from Hawaii which will be available for sale.
