Join activelyOUT, Center Women Present and the San Francisco LGBT Community Center for a viewing of the much-anticipated Vice Presidential Debate between Senator Joe Biden from Delaware and Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska.Vice Presidential debates generally don't garner much attention; however, with the attention paid to this year's campaign and the surprise selection of Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, the upcoming debate stands a strong chance as being the most-watched VP debate ever. The standard was set at just over 56 million viewers in 1984(according to Nielsen ratings), when Geraldine Ferraro was the first woman ever selected for a major party ticket.
Join us on Thursday, October 2nd for what should be a very interesting and insightful VP Debate!

Show up early, space is limited. If you RSVP and show up by the start of the event, it is more likely you will have a space as we expect to have a full house.
Additionally, there will be a representative from the League of Women Voters to present on local and state initiatives after the debate!
