The Foothill College Veterinary Technology Program presents an internship and career fair for students and working professionals Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the Campus Center Dining Room at Foothill College. An RSVP is required. Admission is free; parking is $3.Dress professionally, bring multiple copies of your resume to share with employers and be prepared for on-the-spot employment interviews. The schedule for the event is:
• 5:30–6 p.m.—Event registration and networking;
• 6–6:30 p.m.—Guest Speaker Julie Smith, DVM, medical director of the Centers for Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Care, will present Careers in Veterinary Medicine; and
• 6:30–8 p.m.—Veterinary Technology Internship & Career Fair
Parking lots 1, 2 and 3 provide best access to the Campus Center Dining Room. Purchase permit for $3 at dispensers in any student lot. Dispensers accept one-dollar bills and quarters.
