Description

The Gallery at Public Glass presents the premiere of Vestiges: Water, a one-woman show of new works in glass with other materials and light by sculptor Ann Hollingsworth.

Ann has been studying glass for ten years, focusing on cast glass works—both kiln cast and hot cast—as well as blown glass. Her works are a reflection on water. Like water, Ann’s creativity finds many paths on its journey to the sea, seeping into the hidden aquifers that sustain us.

Ann lives and works in Half Moon Bay, where she operates a casting studio in which she creates her work and assists other artists with their work. Prior to the studio, Ann worked out of a barn on the organic farm she operated with her family. She received a BFA from California College of the Arts in 2005, having begun her studies many years before at Washington University in St. Louis. Between those educational events, she ran her own design/build construction company in Berkeley, CA. For more information on Ann, please visit http://www.annhollingsworth.com.
