The University of San Francisco ROTC program is pleased to announce its inaugural Dons Battalion Veterans’ Day Fun Run taking place on Sat., Nov. 10 starting at 8 a.m. The 5K Fun Run/Walk will circle the perimeter of Lake Merced (3.7 miles). Race registration is $20; all are welcome and encouraged to participate. A share of the proceeds will benefit Swords to Plowshares, a non-profit group that helps integrate veterans back into a civilian life, offering employment training, housing support, health care aid, and legal assistance.
