USF and the African American Arts and Cultural Center presents “The State of Black San Francisco II”What: A dialogue and panel Q&A on the State of Black San Francisco, covering education, housing, job employment and criminal justice.
When: Monday, April 30, 2012. 5:30 p.m.: Food and refreshments 6-7:30 p.m. Panel discussion and Q&A
Where: The African American Arts and Cultural Center. Located at 762 Fulton Street San Francisco, CA 94102.
Why: In this follow-up event to the highly successful "State of Black San Francisco" last fall, USF faculty and community leaders will continue the dialogue around the State of Black San Francisco.
Panelists will be discussing practical step solutions to these issues, and move the conversation towards how the community can take action in making a positive difference. Designed to spark robust dialogue that informs, engages, and encourages broader public communication, the panel discussion will be facilitated by USF Sociology Professor Stephanie Sears, with an introduction by London Breed, Executive Director for the African American Art & Cultural Complex (AAACC).
