Description

Learn how to make your own compost and build “rich soil” while reducing waste. Explore the differences and benefits of worm bins and backyard compost options that can be created at home regardless of space constraints. All materials are provided. Light physical activity is likely.

Instructor Bio:
David Gardella is the JCCSF’s Urban Agriculture Specialist. When not tending to the garden, David can be found teaching a variety of art courses throughout the Bay Area with students ranging from age 2 to 86. He is also the Vice President of the Mycological Society of San Francisco and has been on the governing council since 2009.
