Cat’s projects have included collaboration with City Slicker Farms on their facilities at Union Plaza and Fitzgerald Park, as well as residential gardens after the toxic lead treatment process undertaken by the EPA in South Prescott. She will discuss issues of food security, community engagement, and stewardship as they apply to West Oakland. The walking tour will be mostly centered in the Union Plaza area.
