Description

The 17th UNAFF, an international documentary film festival, will run from October 16 to 26 at various locations in Palo Alto, San Francisco, and Stanford University. The Festival will present issues from the streets of Syria, Afghanistan, India, Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, China, Morocco, Rwanda, US and other countries. Additional topics include a new perspective on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the slums of the world, the global waste crisis, women at the center of the drive for social change, teens placed in solitary confinement and photography on the front-lines of modern day slavery.

$10 per film session (1-3 hrs). Free admission for students with valid ID, seniors (62+). Opening Night films and UNAFF & Kids program (Oct 17) are free and open to the general public by generous support from FACT. Free admission to all panels.
