We are thrilled to feature an exclusive pre-theatrical release screening of the Frameline and Sundance award winning Film UNDERTOW on Thursday, September 16th at the Roxie Theatre at 7 pm.
Peru-2009- 100 Min....Director: Javier Fuentes-Leon.... Miguel is young married fisherman in a small coastal town in Peru, conservative and with unique traditions around death. Mariela is his wife and she's just about to have a baby. Santiago is the big city outsider- an artist, agnostic, and openly gay. When Santiago passes, Miguel struggles to accept who he really is for fear of losing those he loves. Global film festival success with awards from Sundance, Frameline, and others.
