Great Western Furniture. (I think.)

I took this photo from Hwy. 101 . . . as I was driving.

This sign has intrigued me for decades. It's faded dreariness is like a beautiful preserved butterfly. Quite obviously dead . . . but implausibly surviving, and somehow captivating.

The building is now occupied by a Hockey club:
Hockey Workout
1610 N. 4th St.

I called the "hockey" business and was transferred to the owner, who said he would call me back. He didn't. The California brush-off.

I climbed on top of a Zamboni, without permission, to take the photograph on the next page.
