| In lieu of a traditional "ribbon-cutting," TheTech is "plugged in." Frank Taylor, Mayor Susan Hammer, Tech CEO Peter Giles, and John Warnock lifted and plugged in the yellow socket. Upon insertion, an explosion of confetti erupted over the mango palisades of TheTech. Uplifting, hard-driving, "rock" music elevated the spirits of all in attendance. The doors were opened, and throngs of happy science enthusiasts poured in. |
