Because "it was there," and nobody else was. I decided to climb Mt. Quetzy to photograph TheTech. At an altitude in excess of seven feet it would be a true test of man against mountain. The arduous climb was made easier on account of multiple large cracks and ugly fissures.

The photograph above was taken from the summit. Gasping for breath, I hurriedly took this photo before scrambling down to the valley. The possibility of Underbelly Guy slipping to a messy demise on the slopes of Mt. Quetzy was always there, nibbling away at the corners of my frost-bitten mind.
