is six feet wide and depicts an earlier Alviso. Note the absence
of levees.
Alviso proper is fifteen feet lower now. The clubhouse,
and all of Alviso, is protected by levees. Unfortunately, there
seems to be no way for Alviso to protect itself from the political
shenanigans of San Jose, or the encroachment of Silicon Valley
entrepreneurs. Only a matter of time until the people who in
Alviso will not be able to afford to live in Alviso. One must
make room for the burgeoning crop of computer-weinee millionaires. |
