Ty Segall is carving out his own brand of neo-psych garage alongside San Francisco compatriots and collaborators Sic Alps and Thee Oh Sees. After clawing his way out of the Bay Area garage scene with a frantic one-man band act that the local crowd and press couldn't get enough of, Segall has now formed a three-piece that destroys sonic and melodic boundaries with manic glee. Exploring the space between cro-magnon fuzz and atmospheric acoustic psych, Lemons (out now!) is the natural next step after his full-on self-titled 2008 debut.
