Coming back to DUB MISSION this Memorial Day Weekend is none other than RYAN MOORE aka TWILIGHT CIRCUS DUB SOUND SYSTEM, one of the best dub producers working today. On this unforgettable night we’ll celebrate his birthday and the release of his upcoming Extended Disco Mixes which features Michael Rose, Lutan Fyah, Brother Culture, Ranking Joe, Admiral Tibet, Fred Locks, Sugar Minott, and many others. Get ready for a set full of exclusive dub plates, rare vintage gems, and the most cutting-edge of European/UK bass culture riddims, all tweaked out with extra fx and production on the fly.

Multi-instrumentalist/producer/sound engineer RYAN MOORE has been involved with dub for the last 25 years. Moore's take on dub is a radical application of the ideology of dub pioneers like King Tubby, Lee Perry, and Augustus Pablo. His bass lines weigh tons, his atmospheres are cadaverous, and his arrangements are kaleidoscopic while seeming inconspicuous: he “plays” the sound studio. Based in Holland, Moore has released almost 40 recordings (some vinyl-only) on his own label M Records since 1995. He has worked with many reggae greats, including Michael Rose, Sugar Minott, Lutan Fyah, Ranking Joe, and Gregory Isaacs, the percussive sounds of Sly Dunbar and Skully, guitar from Chinna Smith and saxophone from Dean Fraser. In addition to Extended Disco Mixes, Moore will appear on the upcoming Gaudi album, In Between Times. Also set for future release are an electronic dub album he recorded with cEvin Key (Skinny Puppy) and a vinyl release with Austin's McPullish.

Also appearing will be one of Bay Area’s most talented dub & dubstep producers, ROOMATE. His set of heavy soundsystem dub meets basshead reggae remixes will feature tons of originally-produced tunes, many of them unreleased. In the past decade, Justin McCauley aka ROOMMATE has taken a musical journey that’s been nothing short of monumental. As one half of the Californian dubstep outfits Babylon System and OSC, he contributed many of the early U.S. dubstep releases, playing a key role in the ongoing development of the stateside dubstep scene. His quality productions were quick to gain recognition on an international scale, receiving air time by the likes of N-Type, Emalkay and Skream. Before long his tunes were being snatched up by some of the scene's most respected labels, including Argon and Full Melt, as well as his own Hollow Point Recordings. Combining cutting edge sound engineering with an undying passion for the vintage reggae vibe, Roommate has succeeded in creating a trademark sound, appealing to the bass-hungry masses as well as the die hard reggae fans. His level of production can only be matched by his passionate and energetic stage presence. Whoever said dubstep isn't DUBstep, obviously hasn't heard of Roommate!
