Description

"If music be the food of love, play on..." A talented cast of young actors, ages 8 to 21, performs Shakespeare's rollicking romantic comedy, Twelfth Night, set in 1890s California. This comic tale of romance and mistaken identity is fun for the whole family. $15 adv, $20 door, $1 for children 7 and under

Twins Viola and Sebastian, separated during a shipwreck, both think the other one is dead. When Viola reaches shore, she dresses as a man, adopts the name Cesario, and is hired by Count Orsino to deliver messages of love to Lady Olivia. Things get complicated when Olivia falls in love with Cesario, and the look-a-like brother returns. Meanwhile, Olivia’s pompous steward, Malvolio, is fooled into thinking that Olivia loves him. Sir Toby Belch, Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Olivia’s maid Maria, Feste the clown, and a whole pack of boisterous servants all conspire to bring Malvolio down.
