Whogas | Reggae on the Rocks with a twist of Funk! In a world of passing trends WHOGAS stays true to their sound and style. This power trio hit the Bay Area in 2006 when long time song writing and performance partners; bassist Dano Porter & guitar/vocalist, Brandon Valatka joined forces with drummer Chris Paxton to form…WHOGAS.

Con Brio | Since forming in the Spring of 2009, Con Brio’s powerful, soulful vocals and no-nonsense, deep-pocket rhythm section have lit up venues all over the bay area. “Xandra Corpora’s vocals are stunning….The band, tight as a bungee cord, is a funky, acoustic, jazz/blues casserole. That’s right-casserole. What’s more, they kill it live.” -Bricks and Mortar Media

Shawn Brown | March 25th 2010
Shawn has been grinding away in the studio w/ Bay Area producer Jamie Hawkins (Maxwell, En Vouge, etc..) His new project promises to build more on the soulful pop featured on his previous releases. He is currently working with LA based Authentik Artists (connected to Warner Bros.) on the release of his forthcoming, nationally released EP “Exile”. Look for a Fall release as well as more national tour dates.

Acacia Collective | Acacia Collective originated in Orange County, California in the winter of 2003. Founding members Craig MacArthur and Ryan McCaffrey began writing and playing music that focuses on ethereal vocal harmonies and soulful guitar interplay. Inspired by the artistic energy of the Bay Area, the duo relocated to San Francisco in 2004. Over the next several years The Collective grew, incorporating many talented Bay Area musicians. Most notably, they collaborated with bassist, songwriter, producer and Bay Area legend, Bobby Vega. With Vega and guitarist Chris Rossbach producing and Prairie Prince on drums, the Collective released their debut EP, “House of Cards” in the spring of 2009. With the momentum of this release and recent performances opening for Alberta Cross and The Mother Hips, as well as new additions Eric DiBerardino (bass) and Danny Eisenberg (keys), Acacia Collective is poised to deliver its passion for musical expression to the masses.

The Seshen | The Seshen is a soul-funk-reggae fusion band based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Fronted by lead vocalists Akasha Orr and Lalin, it is rooted in music performed by bassist Aki Ehara, drummer Julian Pont, guitarist Tony Lowe and keyboardist Mahesh Rao. With influences ranging from Portishead to Erykah Badu, their entrancing sound combines melodic harmonies and throwback grooves that creates vibe that is refreshingly original.
