Kuumbwa Jazz Center presents a double bill with Tumbleweed Wanderers and special guest Laura Jean Anderson. Hailing from Oakland, The Tumbleweed Wanderers wander through a variety of genres, from rock and roll to soul, from bluegrass to folk and more. Members Jeremy Lyon and Zak Mandel-Romann first formed the band in 2011 after they discovered that they had a mutual admiration for the O Brother Where Art Thou? soundtrack. Laura Jean Anderson has been making quite a splash with her haunting vocals and striking guitar rhythms, delivering a hard driving yet melodic style that is all her own.
