Thursday, August 2nd at 9:00pm San Frnacisco's new neo-victorian palace of sound, Monarch, will host a new dance party called TRAPEZE featuring the bay area’s most beloved DJs of the wild new electro-circus genre. DJ/Producer Delachaux from SF’s annual Edwardian Ball and multi-magical mix-monster The Klown of Bohemian Carnival will be joined by DJ Jocelyn of Get Freaky and Fact.50 from Kinky Salon for a high-flying night of big bass, electro-swing, and nasty circus Moombah.TRAPEZE will be an intoxicating ritual of kidnapping exotic sounds from the haunted islands of vintage circus and speakeasy swing and blasting them off on an electronic joyride through the voluptuous galaxies of the forbidden future. Burlesque sirens Mz. K from the Vau de Vire Society, Roxy Rêve, Belle Phénomène, and Kalikia will hypnotize eyes with spicy performances on the hour starting at 10pm while birthday hostess Emma Nation and those villains of vaudeville The Klown Korps cast capers and keep you enthralled.
Entrance to Trapeze will be $5.00 before 10:00pm and $10.00 afterwards. This is a classy affair. Art deco dandy and naughty flapper what-not attire is encouraged.
