Brennan Bird, the visionary who launched the Peace On Earthbench Movement, will be instructing Veggielutionaries on how to turn their non-recyclable plastics into structures with a purpose. Veggielution asks for a $10-$15 contribution, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Workshop located at the Plant Science Center at Emma Prusch Park at 647 S. King Road."Waste is an illusion - a resource in the wrong place. Come learn how to transform your non-recyclable, non-biodegradable waste packaging into a resource for building community space. Bottle bricks, or portable landfill devices, are plastic bottles stuffed with plastic trash until they become compressed like bricks. Earthbenches are community projects built from these bottle bricks and natural building materials. Come learn about an ambitious community project to build an earthbench at the Veggielution Community Farm this spring."
