In the nearly five years that Tormenta Tropical has been happening, we've made a lot of friends. Sometimes, those friends make music, and occasionally, it's so good that we want to team up and do something special. That's certainly the case with BODY HIGH, the LA-based label/crew headed up by SAMO SOUND BOY and Jerome Potter from LOL BOYS. (You may know their collaborative work as DJ DODGER STADIUM.)In less than a year, BODY HIGH has become one the hottest labels in the US, dropping tunes from the likes of DJ Funeral, Todd Edwards, DJ Sliink, Myrryrs, and more. We joined forces with the Body High crew at SXSW and WMC this year, and the results were so good that we needed to bring some of that magic to Tormenta Tropical back home in California.
As always, Bersa Discos' own SHAWN REYNALDO and ORO11 will be dropping cumbia and tropical heat, while DJ DODGER STADIUM will be bringing their assault of acid-fueled ghetto house.
