On Friday September 21st, we’re proud to welcome one of the world’s leading house DJs to Vessel. The UK’s Mark Knight. One of the hardest working names in the scene Mark lives and breathes electronic dance music. Not only a prolific producer, critically acclaimed remixer and an established DJ that sees him constantly appearing in the DJ Mag top 100 every year. He also finds time to run Toolroom Records – one of the most prolific house music labels of recent times, constantly smashing records on beatport and gaining accolades all over the globe. It’s a label that’s sound has defined a generation of house music in it’s modest seven year history.

Ultimately though, Toolroom’s music is made for the dancefloor. So in 2006 Mark set about creating his own club night to showcase the very best of what the label had to offer and something to capture the style and ethos of the brand. The result: Toolroom Knights. Now in it’s sixth year it has gone on to hold residencies at some of the best clubs in the world, such as Cocoon Frankfurt, Space Miami, Ministry of Sound London, Haze Las Vegas, Pacha New York as well as hosting Toolroom arenas at key festivals including; SW4 London, Global Gathering UK, Dance Valley Netherlands. And of course here at Vessel where he’ll be headlining the fourth instalment of Toolroom Knights in San Francisco. A rare chance to catch one of the world’s best DJ’s in an intimate space on the West Coast’s flagship Funktion One sound system.
