Description

Stagebridge Senior Theatre unveils a magical production for young audiences March 6-8 and March 15 as its annual Grandparent Tales intergenerational presentation. Written by Jose Cruz Gonzalez (based on the children's book by Pat Mora), Tomas and the Library Lady tells the true story of Tomas Rivera, who was the son of migrant workers in the 1940s, and went on to be the first Latino chancellor of an American university at UC Riverside. The production is directed by Bruce Bierman, and features live guitar music.

The March 6, 7 and 8 performances take place at Stagebridge, and the March 15 performance is presented at the Redwood City Veteran's Building (1455 Madison Avenue). Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children under 12. For reservations and information, please call (510) 444-4755 or email [email protected].
