Under the constant leadership of Nick 13, Tiger Army has earned its title for the East Bay's premiere psychobilly. On the scene since their first show at the legendary 924 Gilman Street in Berkeley in 1996, the band has had a hard time hanging on to drummers and bassists, but their world tours and festival appearances keep faithful fans hanging on to every distorted guitar riff. And since they liked playing festivals so much, they went ahead and made their own. Octoberflame is still going strong for its fifth year across six nights in five cities with a slew of up-and-comers in tow.
