Description
Tiffany Austin is a sublime vocalist, songwriter, and lyricist (& U.C. Berkeley law graduate!), whose musical interests fuse elements of blues, swing, soul, hip-hop, and contemporary music. She has worked with many eminent artists, including Roy Ayers, Marcus Shelby, Howard Wiley, and Tomoyasu Hotei of "Kill Bill" fame. Joining Tiffany Austin is Howard Wiley (tenor sax), Grant Levin (piano), Ron Belcher (bass), and Sly Randolph (drums).The 2014 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival at Yerba Buena Gardens in downtown San Francisco runs May 4 through October 26, 2014 and presents over 90 free events including music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, festivals and children’s programs with artists from Africa, Japan, Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, the Philippines, Sweden, China, Venezuela and the Bay Area. This year’s Festival features events at Jessie Square with poetry, dance workshops and salsa dancing. Yerba Buena Gardens is located between Mission Street and Howard Street and 3rd and 4th Streets in downtown San Francisco.
