Vocalist Tierney Sutton and pianist Mitchel Forman are teaming up especially for this intimate performance. with Grammy nominee Kevin Axt, Tierney’s longtime bassist. They have played together in numerous projects, most recently on Forman’s 2011 “Sing Along With Mitch” CD. “She articulates exquisitely and pairs with Forman’s piano like fine wine pairs with great food.”
Nominated for five Grammy awards, Tierney has co-led The Tierney Sutton Band for 19 years and released 19 CDs. She’s Vocal Department Head at the prestigious LA Music Academy and currently working on a new project with the Turtle Island String Quartet.

For many years, Mitchel Forman has been recognized as one of the premier keyboardists of his generation. He has performed with many of the legends of traditional and contemporary jazz and has 10 CD’s to his name. Forman is currently performing around Los Angeles and well as composing for television and film.

Kevin Axt has been a freelance musician in LA since 1982 and continues to be one of the busiest bassists in LA, playing bass on over 130 albums and in dozens of theater, film and television productions.
