Description

-EagleWolfSnake is one of the tightest, fullest sounding trios I’ve heard in quite awhile. Just listen to their debut EP for evidence: layered vocals that make choruses arena-ready, chiming guitar lines that effortlessly float through the driving beats, deceptively simple song structures featuring big melodic hooks and an explicit desire to get your feet moving. You can reference everyone from the Speaking In Tongues incarnation of the Talking Heads to any era of Franz Ferdinand (because, let’s face it, those guys never really did change up their sound, did they?), but for brevity’s sake, it’s better just to classify the band as danceable rock/pop ear candy. “Empty Weather” is especially catchy and so concisely constructed you’ll wish it was longer than just two-and-a-half minutes. - See more at: http://www.bottomofthehill.com/20151112.html

Jet Trash
Paul Keith Robby Marshall
-from San Francisco, CA
-San Francisco’s Jet Trash know what it means to be a quintessential West Coast band. They proudly carry the torch of their predecessors The Sonics and The Ventures, joining the ranks of Bay Area contemporaries Ty Segall and Thee Oh Sees in cranking out modern indie-rock updates on classic ’60s garage-surf. Armed with vintage Fenders and reverb-soaked tube amps, the band’s energetic lo-fi anthems have a youthful immediacy, their massive hooks curling like breaking waves. It’s a sound that has already won the hearts of Jet Trash’s hometown, The Deli SF voting them one of the best up-and-coming bands of 2014 and The Bay Bridged dubbing them “the cream of the crop” of San Francisco locals. Now, with their self-titled debut EP, they’re ready to take the national stage - See more at: http://www.bottomofthehill.com/20151112.html

Lungs And Limbs
KARINA ROUSSEAU, NICK TUDOR, CHRIS CASEY, MATT POWER
-from Northern CA
-Lungs and Limbs became a band when they collectively converted an old horse stable in the woods outside of Occidental into a recording studio. After the concrete dried, they recorded their debut EP, Lifelike (dropping November 13th), including the single “Signs Of Life.” Filled with vivid guitarwork, soothing synths, and a sticky refrain, the song is a solid poptastic hit. - See more at: http://www.bottomofthehill.com/20151112.html

Vinyl Spectrum
KLance Harrington, Chris Locs, Frank Fusco, Dario Slavazza
-from San Francisco, CA
-San Francisco collective Vinyl Spectrum’s music is a blend of Indie rock, blues and funk and they’ve just released their latest single, P.S. 118. The group was founded by Frank Fusco after he moved to the Bay Area from Philadelphia in 2012. Led by Fusco (vocals/guitar), Lance Harrington (Drums), Chris Locs (Bass), and Dario Slavazza (Sax/Keys), the band prides themselves on musicianship and their sound breaks away from the routine trends of today’s music. - See more at: http://www.bottomofthehill.com/20151112.html
