Frank Baum’s “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz:” Dorothy, a restless farm girl eager to escape her humdrum daily life, is transported via tornado to a magical world of Munchkins and talking scarecrows. On her way to beg the Wizard to send her home, Dorothy meets loyal friends who help her defeat the Wicked Witch of the West – and she ultimately learns that, really, there’s no place like home.
Infused with an exuberant mix of rock, gospel and soul, this boisterous twist on an old favorite is a virtual musical circus for everyone!
