Description
elsewhere gallery's new March exhibit is “The Way I See It” by Artist Ellis HeyerAccording to Heyer “Heaven is here on earth, my task is to open my eyes, see it and paint it. Family, friends, pets, furniture, tools, machines, sports activities, to name a few, both indoors and out, are recurring themes or starting points for my work. Everything is ultimately a landscape: colour is my interpretation of those spaces. Humor has been my saving grace, as well as the appeal of the weird and/or eccentric. Time spent observing my family life, the chores and tasks required of me, everyday occurrences, all provide me with an endless wealth of inspiration.”
Exhibit includes works in oil gouache of pool, lake, river and red boots.
