"What started this year as a bedroom side project of multi-instrumentalist Brian DaMert, has quickly grown into one of the most exciting new acts to in San Francisco. Keeping it all in the family, DaMert has recruited his younger sister, local dj @SaraSoGnar, along with local instrumentalists Greg Sellin and Bob Jakubs to create The Tambo Rays. Sfweekly calls the garage psych-pop quartet, "dreamy and effortlessly hip." Recently coming off a Noisepop 2012 performance, the six month old Tambo Rays now look to further solidify themselves by performing their first ever headlining hometown set.
