The Sunset Warriors continue their spring fling with a show at Cafe Royale, featuring Hot Flash Heat Wave! We are super excited to play with HFHW for the very first time! A little surf rock to balance out our neo-soul piano pop?

We are preparing to rock the art right off the walls - formal attire strongly encouraged! So pull out those bowties, boas, monocles, and other glad rags, and get ready to get your wiggle on. Prizes for most dapper will be awarded (CDs! stickers! candies!)

The Sunset Warriors are a female-fronted, independent rock band based in San Francisco, California. Describing their sound as "neo-soul piano pop," The Sunset Warriors are clearly influenced by the beauty and diversity of the City. Started in 2010 by a couple of students (SFSU, UCB), The Sunset Warriors combine the pep and pop of Broadway with the soul of blues and classic rock to create a unique and powerful musical sound. Performing original tracks across the Bay Area, from bars like The Rockit Room, Brainwash, and Milk, to events like the 2012 Battle of the Bands (The Blue Macaw) and the 2012 Palo Alto International Film Festival, The Sunset Warriors have been compared to artists ranging from The Black Keys and No Doubt to The Yeah Yeah Yeah's and Joan Baez.
