Description
The Suicide Notes play their debut San Francisco show this Sunday May 27 at Thee Parkside. Featuring members of Epoxies, Pure Country Gold and Mean Jeans, the sextet joins King Louie's Missing Monuments, fellow Portland band Thee Chemicals and Top Ten on the bill.Formed in 2010 as a recording project by Portland Rock veterans Tim (Epoxies), Petey J Cool (Pure Country Gold), and Howie Hotknife (Mean Jeans) plus vocalists Jessi Lixx, Double A and Miss Joseph, The Suicide Notes blend the sweet harmonies of 60's girl groups with a Punk Rock edge. Described as an “effortless marriage between Spector Pop and vintage punk”, the band recently released their debut single "Hey Baby", available on 7" vinyl via Hovercraft records. After a short NW run opening for X, The Suicide Notes will play their first Californian dates this Memorial Day weekend.
