With sensibilities towards state of mind, emotional context, and rhythmic reflection, Ben Runnels' unique understanding of music emerges from a desire to fathom how sound reflects life, and vice versa.With influences ranging from Frank Sinatra to the Grateful Dead, 80s synthpop to reggae, and classic country to dark techno, Ben's songs feature captivating structures with plenty of energetic and poignant improv.
With a decade of electric guitar behavior and recent activity in audio production, Ben's sonic activities have begun attracting other like-minded musicians. This show will feature a stellar cast of local talent exploring the possibilities of entrainment and synchronicity.
