Description

The Peninsula Youth Theatre is thrilled to invite you to their newest production, the classic musical "The Sound Of Music." The story follows the widowed Captain Von Trapp as he searches for a nanny for his rambunctious brood, with Mother Abbess recommending a "problem" novice. The new nanny Maria soon has the family singing to her tunes - including "My Favorite Things" and "Do Re Mi," but their newfound happiness is soon overshadowed by the rise of Nazi Germany.
